Rail Passes are currently unavailable and our B2B tool will shortly be switch into our new B2B system. It will launch on 1 October with electronic rail passes available shortly thereafter.

Payment & Ticketing

Conditions:

  • Age 5 and under travel for free if not occupying a seat or bed.
  • Ages 5-15 qualify for child fares (50% off the adult fare).
  • Permanent residents of the UK are not eligible to purchase or use a Britrail London Plus Pass.
  • Passes must be validated within 11 months of issue date.
  • Passes are actual travel documents and do not need to be exchanged, and must be validated prior to boarding the first train.
  • Any onward journey made outside the Britrail London Plus Pass area boundary must be paid in advance before boarding the relevant train i.e: a valid ticket must be purchased, otherwise penalty fees will be incurred.
  • Reservations are not inclusive in the cost of the pass and can only be made locally.
  • 7:00pm rule does not apply.

Cancellation & Amendments

Conditions:

  • A $20 per person, per pass + carrier penalty fee applies for amendments to unused passes returned within one year of issuing date.
  • Passes must be presented for refund unused and not validated.
  • A fee of $30 per person, per pass + carrier penalty fee applies to totally unused passes returned within one year of issuing date.
  • No partial refunds.
  • Britrail Passes cannot be reissued if lost or stolen.
